you know. sometime i think i get distracted way too easily. i start off with goals in mind, things i wanna accomplish..but halfway there, i sidetrack and get distracted by new things that come my way. i mean, dont get me wrong. i am ambitious. If i want smth really badly, ill go all out to achieve it. Take for example, running. I've got an end in sight and a set timing in mind in which i want to get there by. so i train and give my 110%. Do whatever it takes to get to that next level.
But lately i dunno. ive been putting things on hold for awhile. Like guitar. Went for my first lesson with my new instructor, Kristo, yesterday. It felt so good picking up the electric again and discussing music with him. And everything ive learnt during the hols have gone down the drain due to negligence on my part. Ive been teaching acoustic still, but havent been practising electric lead guitar techniques at all.i dunno. this new instructor isnt as skilled as my previous one..but as i was watching him play, it just dawned on me that ive really gotta practice and practice and practice if i wanna play one helluva mean guitar. And not just your average strum a few basic songs kinda guitarist. yeah kinda stating the obvious i know. but i guess i was inspired. its really hard to take time off to practice..what with all the new school and church commitments, and oso trying to get back to running properly (trying being the key word) haha. but im gonna be the next joe santriani or eric clapton you just watch heh.what a bold claim.
i dunno why im still online..so shacked now alr.just came back from jac's place. Earlier on, went shopping with the timonians for rudith's prez. omgg waisan and i agreed that it sucks having to drag a whole bunch of guys out to shop. hahaha ok to give 'em their due, they made minimal complaints, despite having to walk from ps to far east to taka.6 hours of shopping in total.but we felt bad at taking so much time to decide.spending so long at the $2 daiso shop and dragging 'em ard to girl shops like sasa,bodyshop and sheer romance haha.
hmmm and it seems that reminders of the past do nothing to aid progress of the present.Or perhaps it just gives me more clarity of mind.
